Continental is seeking a Virtual Tire Developer to advance tire performance through FEM simulations and advanced modeling. You will create FEM tire models, apply market boundary conditions, and optimize patterns and layouts.

The role involves analyzing results and presenting findings to multidisciplinary teams across borders. Candidates should have a mechanical/mathematics background, FEM software experience (Ansys/Abaqus/Patran), CAD familiarity (NX/Catia/SolidWorks), and programming skills

Qualificações

• Pre-Bologna Degree or Integrated Master’s in an Engineering area, preferably Mechanical, or Mathematics area.

Responsabilidades

• Provide the performance assessment for commercial vehicle tires by using the Finite Element Method(FEM) simulations and prediction tools
• Understand and apply boundary conditions given by the target market, application and service
• Ensure the product performance requirements are met and balanced through pattern, contour and layout optimization
• Analyze, evaluate, and present the simulations and prediction results
• Create FEM tire models based on the specification of the tire
• Guarantee accuracy, quality and methodological procure in the simulation and prediction processes
