Continental’s R&D Tires team seeks a Virtual Tire Developer to support tire development through complex FEM simulations and predictive analyses. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across countries to drive performance optimization.

Responsibilities include creating FEM tire models, applying boundary conditions, and ensuring performance targets are met, with opportunities for professional growth. Willingness to travel and strong English skills are required.

Qualificações

• FEM knowledge and FE software experience.
• Programming skills beneficial (MATLAB, Python).
• CAD software skills (NX, Catia, SolidWorks).
• Project management skills and ability to work autonomously.
• English language skills (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Provide performance assessment for tires using FEM simulations and prediction tools.
• Understand and apply boundary conditions from target market, application and service.
• Ensure product performance requirements are met via pattern, contour and layout optimization.
• Analyze, evaluate, and present simulations and prediction results.
• Create FEM tire models based on tire specifications.
• Guarantee accuracy, quality and methodological rigor in simulation processes.
