Continental in Portugal is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design wear-testing methodologies and translate results for product teams. You will bridge R&D and end-users, evaluating durability, fit, and performance in real-world scenarios.

You will build tester profiles, analyze feedback and sensor data, and support the Evaluation Center Wearaccreditation project. The role offers training, development opportunities, and travel within an international setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Biomechanics, or related field.
• 5 years in quality assurance, product development, or field-testing (preferred).
• Proficiency in data collection and statistical analysis software.
• Solid computer skills and Office tools.
• Project management skills.
• Self-organization and autonomy.
• Strong communication and intercultural collaboration.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
• Portuguese language skills written and spoken (mandatory).
• English language skills written and spoken (mandatory).
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Design structured, repeatable wear-testing methodologies.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for design, material selection, and engineering teams.
• Bridge R&D and end-users by evaluating durability, fit, and performance in real-world scenarios.
• Build and manage a profile of target consumers/testers for diverse data collection.
• Analyze tester feedback alongside sensor data to identify errors.
• Support the project of the Evaluation Center Wearaccreditation.
