Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in HVAC project development. Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Buildings Business Unit by recruiting an HVAC Engineer (Expert) for the HVAC division, based at our Porto office. With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC projects ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and client requirements
• Design efficient and accurate technical solutions aligned with client needs and expectations
• Ensure adherence to defined deadlines for project execution
• Plan work activities and monitor team productivity, ensuring high levels of profitability
• Manage and supervise the assigned team, promoting the professional development of its members
• Develop tools, methodologies, and best practices that improve the division’s productivity and results

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in HVAC project development
• Experience in team management and work planning (valued)
• Knowledge of DesignBuilder as a tool for thermal load calculations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of REVIT is an advantage
• Good command of English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Flexibility to work on more than one project simultaneously
• Good communication skills and team spirit
