Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking experienced Vehicle Test Drivers to support the testing of new electric vehicles (EVs) in the the targeted region before full scale market launch. You will drive prototype EVs on predefined routes, visit charging stations, and verify charging processes alongside a client-side engineer.

Travel is required across the region, including cross-border legs. A valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and the ability to follow detailed testing procedures and report issues are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and strong driving experience.
• Clear MVR for the past 5 years.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Experience in automotive, vehicle testing, mapping, data collection, or similar projects.
• EV experience strongly preferred.
• Willing to travel extensively and be away from home for the project duration.
• Comfortable working with engineers and following testing procedures.
• Basic technical and smartphone/app skills.
• Willing to complete drug screening and random alcohol testing where required.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Drive prototype EVs on predefined routes across the assigned region.
• Visit selected EV charging stations (EVCS).
• Check charging station availability through the vehicle/app.
• Connect the vehicle to charging stations and verify that the charging process works as expected.
• Record and report any issues or unexpected behavior.
• Follow predefined testing procedures and routes.
• Work closely with a client-side engineer during testing.
• Travel as required throughout the project, including cross-border travel in a region where applicable.
• Maintain a high level of care and responsibility when operating prototype vehicles.
