Job summary

Axians Portugal is seeking a Systems Administration Manager to lead strategy, governance, and evolution of enterprise endpoint and workplace services. You will act as the technical reference for endpoint management initiatives and drive modernization programs in line with security and business requirements.

You will coordinate with internal and offshore teams, define standards, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and promote automation and self-service to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Systems Administration within large enterprise environments.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Conditional Access.
• Experience delivering endpoint modernization initiatives and SCCM to Intune migrations.
• Experience defining governance frameworks, policies, and operational processes.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic roadmap for endpoint management and workplace services.
• Lead enterprise device management initiatives with alignment to security requirements.
• Drive endpoint transformation projects including SCCM to Intune migrations.
• Establish governance frameworks, standards and best practices for endpoint lifecycle management.
• Oversee device compliance, security baselines, and auditing requirements.
• Review proposals and provide guidance on architecture and service improvements.
• Coordinate internal, offshore teams and MSPs to ensure service excellence.
• Define and monitor service performance through KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead service review meetings with senior stakeholders across the organization.
• Promote automation, standardization, and self-service capabilities.
• Ensure software asset and licensing management balancing compliance and cost.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security and Architecture teams on workplace initiatives.
• Define and improve operational processes and governance models.
