Job summary

Easyship seeks a Technical Implementation Lead to own end-to-end enterprise integrations of our API, from discovery and SoW to go-live and volume migration. You will be the API expert for customers, Sales, and internal teams, guiding them toward one clear solution in collaboration with Solutions Developers.

You will map ecommerce platforms, ERPs, OMS, and WMS, design endpoints, authentication, and data mapping, and manage multiple implementations concurrently while upholding scope and delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical implementation, solutions architecture, or a similar technical customer-facing role.
• Expert, hands-on command of REST APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns, including authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, SSO, API keys).
• You're fluent with JSON, data mapping, and SQL, and confident using Postman or Insomnia.
• You're a structured troubleshooter across HTTP status codes, rate limits, error handling, retries, and logs.
• You understand how eCommerce platforms, ERPs, and warehouse systems integrate with shipping services.
• You're confident with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders, and you form a recommendation and bring people with you.
• You have experience writing SoWs, running multiple implementations at once, and holding scope and pricing boundaries.
• You use AI effectively: you review agent-generated work and translate it into plain language.
• You have excellent technical documentation skills and strong written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with Enterprise Sales and map customer systems (eCommerce platforms, ERP, OMS, WMS), data flows, and constraints to validate product fit.
• Own solution design for each implementation (architecture, endpoints, webhooks, authentication, data mapping) and bring customers to agreement on one clear recommendation.
• Scope and sign off the SoW for every deal that needs API, custom app, or customization work.
• Resolve technical questions from customers and internal teams before the sale and during implementation, including reproducing issues in Postman or Insomnia and finding root cause in requests, responses, and logs.
• Lead technical kick-offs and calls with customers' technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Solutions Developers to align on scope and design, unblock questions during the build, and confirm delivery matches the SoW.
• Manage several implementations at once, from signature to go-live and volume migration, and track milestones, risks, dependencies, and change requests.
• Own implementation escalations, including recovery plans where shipment volume falls short of forecast.
• Lead structured handovers to the CSM and Customer Support; maintain clear governance on custom builds and a register of builds in production.
• Turn recurring questions into documentation, and feed product gaps to Product and Engineering with a clear business case.
