Capital on Tap is building a Lisbon-based engineering team and is looking for a Team Lead to grow a product engineering group. The role blends leadership with hands-on credibility, shaping direction, removing blockers, and raising quality across the team.

As a founding member for the Lisbon office, you’ll hire, mentor, and align engineering with business outcomes while fostering a culture of openness, accountability, and delivery excellence.

Qualificações

• Leadership experience with engineers and growth of teams.
• Strong .NET/C# backend foundation and architectural awareness.
• Product-minded approach aligning engineering with business outcomes.
• Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities in a scaling fintech.
• Nice-to-have Azure cloud development experience.
• Familiarity with React or similar frontend frameworks.
• Background in financial services or fintech helps context.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, hire, develop, and retain engineers; run meaningful 1:1s.
• Partner with Product and QA to plan and ship reliably; remove blockers.
• Set team culture, psychological safety, and uphold standards.
