Axians Portugal is seeking an Engineering Manager for an international logistics project. You will own delivery execution, align with the technology roadmap, and coach a team of engineers across disciplines.

You will partner with Product Owners and stakeholders, shape strategy, promote best practices, and travel occasionally within Europe. This role demands strong leadership, a focus on quality, and excellent communication in English.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in an engineering role.
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing engineers or engineering teams.
• Proven track record of combining people leadership with technical judgment and delivery ownership.
• Strong understanding of engineering quality, maintainability, testability, and operational excellence.
• Ability to translate business priorities into realistic and sustainable team execution.
• Strong communication skills, accountability, and a collaborative leadership style.
• Excellent English skills, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Own delivery execution and align with the technology roadmap.
• Drive sustainable, predictable, and high-quality software delivery.
• Act as line manager for engineers, including coaching, staffing, and performance management.
• Bring technology direction and engineering best practices into the team.
• Focus on engineering quality, maintainability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to align delivery with business priorities.
• Act as the technical counterpart to the Product Owner within the team.
• Shape and implement our technology strategy, drive standardization and improvements.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and improvement-oriented engineering culture.
• Participate actively in day-to-day work of agile product teams.
