Job summary

IQAS Lda is seeking a B2B Sales Executive to drive growth through public tenders in Portugal and Spain and to expand new business across EMEA. You will manage tender opportunities, engage in consultative sales, and develop accounts for QA, supplier management and supply chain services.

You will coordinate with the Head of Sales and IQAS teams to qualify, price and deliver compliant proposals on time, building a strong pipeline and expanding IQAS reach in Europe.

Qualifications

• Three years of B2B sales or business development experience in a technical or professional-services context.
• Experience with public tenders/public procurement in Portugal or Spain is required.
• Ability to prospect, qualify, develop and close complex opportunities with multiple decision-makers.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Portuguese and Spanish; English for EMEA client/internal comms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and qualify public tender opportunities in Portugal and Spain, including scope, deadlines and commercial terms.
• Manage the tender workflow from identification to bid decision, proposal prep, submission and follow-up.
• Coordinate inputs from internal teams and partners to ensure complete, consistent submissions.
• Develop relationships with contracting authorities, public-sector bodies and EPCs within procurement rules.
• Create and execute account plans for EMEA markets targeting projects needing QA, supplier qualification, inspections or testing.
• Lead discovery meetings, assess risks, present IQAS solutions and negotiate terms within pricing governance.
• Build partnerships to extend IQAS capabilities in EMEA while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain CRM records, stages, forecasts, calendars and handovers; ensure accurate data.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to identify cross-selling opportunities after initial assignments.
• Represent IQAS at client meetings, procurements, trade events; travel as required.
