Multational, leader in its sector, is currently looking to hire an Electrical Engineer for its operations based in Lisbon.

Description

1. System Design & Planning

Design and upgrade electrical infrastructure such as substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks. This includes load calculations, equipment sizing, and planning for future demand.

2. Operations & Maintenance Support

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot faults, and support maintenance teams to minimize outages and downtime.

3. Grid Reliability & Stability

Ensure continuous power supply by analyzing system stability, coordinating protection schemes, and preventing failures or blackouts.

4. Protection & Control Systems

Design, test, and maintain protection systems (relays, circuit breakers) to safeguard equipment and personnel.

5. Compliance & Safety

Ensure all systems meet regulatory standards, environmental rules, and safety codes. Documentation and audits are a big part of this.

6. Project Management

Manage or support infrastructure projects—budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and overseeing installation/commissioning.
