Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc in Portugal is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead integration projects. You will design interfaces, manage data integration across systems, and assess technical requirements to ensure performance.

The role requires 5+ years in integration, expertise in WebServices, API management, microservices, and hands-on experience with Software AG WebMethods. English and Portuguese are mandatory.

• Degree in IT or software engineering.

What you’ll do

Who you are

• Degree in IT or software engineering;
• +5 years’ experience in integration projects with Integration, WebServices, API management/Gateway and microservices patterns;
• +3 years’ experience with Software AG – WebMethods integration technology;
• Ability to readily grasp complex architectural environments;
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
• Good understanding of IT and Telecoms specifications & standards;
• Previous experience with Integration Technology products, preferably Software AG WebMethods Product suit;
• Knowledge of Data Management concepts;
• Hands-on experience using DevOps tools – e.g. Git, CICD, Jenkins, Bitbucket;
• Previous experience in the software development process, tools, and languages, e.g. Python, Java/Spring Boot, MongoDB, Shell scripting, PostgreSQL, and Git, Agile methodologies and tools;
• Mandatory English and Portuguese.
