Nors Group in Porto, Portugal, seeks an experienced E-commerce Apps Manager to lead the corporate information systems for its online channels. The role combines hands-on development leadership with strategic architectural decisions, including feature development, platform integration, and roadmap governance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application development or management in e-commerce or digital sales.
• Experience coordinating technical teams and/or external partners.
• Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented with strong communication.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Take technical ownership of the e-commerce platforms and their integrations.
• Define and manage the technology roadmap for the Webshop and digital sales channels.
• Contribute to development and implementation of new features.
• Define and evolve solution architecture for quality, security and scalability.
• Monitor platform performance and lifecycle management.
• Promote best practices in development, documentation and software quality.

We are looking for a E-commerce Apps Manager to join our Corporate Information Systems Department based in Oporto (with 3 days of WFH per week).

What's the challenge?

• Ensure technical ownership of the e-commerce platforms and their integrations;
• Define and manage the technology roadmap for the Webshop and digital sales channels;
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new features;
• Define and evolve solution architecture, ensuring quality, security, scalability and maintainability;
• Monitor platform performance and availability and manage the application lifecycle;
• Promote best practices in development, documentation and software quality;
• Coordinate internal technical teams and/or external partners.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in application development or management, preferably in e-commerce or digital sales;
• Experience coordinating technical teams and/or external partners;
• Experience developing e-commerce solutions, with strong knowledge of Django (mandatory) and knowledge of React;
• Knowledge of SQL; knowledge of SAP (MD/SD), DevOps and CI/CD is a plus;
• Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills;
• Proficiency in English.
