Capgemini Engineering in Portugal is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and deliver scalable, secure software within healthcare environments. You will advance toward a Software Architect role, shaping architectures and integration strategies while delivering hands-on development.

The role requires 5+ years of Java/Spring Boot experience, strong API and system integration skills, and fluency in Portuguese with professional English.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem, REST APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with React development is preferred.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and implementation.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
• Linux environments and application servers such as Tomcat.
• Experience in software design and scalable solution implementation.
• Understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, testing, and security practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Fluent Portuguese and professional English.
