Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, Pharmacovigilance Alliance Contracting and Management to lead global PV agreements and alliance governance across multiple countries.

You will build and mentor a high‑performing PAC team, partner with Legal to harmonize PV templates, manage risk, and drive intelligent, data‑driven improvements, including AI-enabled solutions, to advance patient safety and business value.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
• Advanced degree (Master's, PhD, MD, PharmD) is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience, including 8 years within a drug safety environment with Pharmacovigilance responsibilities
• Deep knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and PV alliance governance
• Proven people leadership experience and talent development
• Ability to negotiate Pharmacovigilance Agreements and safety-related terms
• Experience leading strategic alliances or governance activities in pharma/healthcare
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence
• Digital fluency and willingness to leverage AI-enabled solutions

Responsibilities

• Leading the strategy, negotiation, and execution of PVAs, ensuring regulatory alignment and risk control
• Providing strategic leadership for the global PV Alliance Contracting function
• Supporting alliance governance and partnership management activities for PV collaborations
• Advising IM OCMO and senior leaders on PV obligations and governance
• Collaborating with Legal to govern PV Agreement templates
• Identifying and managing PV agreement and alliance risks
• Partnering across Johnson & Johnson to align PV activities with contractual obligations
• Building partnerships to optimize alliance performance
• Driving continuous improvement and digital transformation across PV contracting processes
