emagine in Porto is seeking a proactive Mid-level DevOps Engineer with around 3 years of professional experience to join a collaborative project team. You will help build, manage, and automate modern cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and continuous delivery.

You'll work with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Ansible, building CI/CD pipelines, automating provisioning, and troubleshooting Linux systems.

Qualificações

• Approximately 3 years of professional DevOps or SRE experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container lifecycle management.
• Solid GitOps, CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps.
• Automation with Ansible for infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Good English communication and autonomous work style.
• Willing to work in a hybrid Porto office twice weekly.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Mid-level DevOps Engineer with around 3 years of professional experience to join a collaborative project team based in Porto. In this role, you will help build, manage, and automate modern cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and continuous delivery across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Automation: Implement and maintain scalable containerized infrastructure across cloud platforms, with a strong focus on Azure DevOps.
• Orchestration & GitOps: Assist in managing and optimizing modern orchestration platforms using Kubernetes and support GitOps workflows for automated deployment.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Build, improve, and operate reliable CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and fast application releases.
• Configuration Management: Develop automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible to streamline environment provisioning.
• System Administration: Ensure stable operation and perform troubleshooting in core Linux environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and senior infrastructure engineers to align applications with DevOps best practices.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Around 3 years of proven professional experience working in a DevOps or SRE.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container lifecycle management.
• GitOps & CI/CD: Practical understanding of GitOps methodologies and intermediate to advanced usage of CI/CD tools (specifically Azure DevOps).
• Automation: Practical experience using Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Operating Systems: Solid experience administering and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, autonomy to tackle intermediate tasks, and the ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Availability: Ability to work in a hybrid setup, visiting our office in Porto twice a week.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Familiarity with specific GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
• Networking & Security: Good knowledge of Networking and Firewalls (e.g., network protocols, routing, DNS, security rules).
