Emagine is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Seixal, Portugal, to join a collaborative environment. You will contribute to scalable infrastructure, cloud strategy, and automation, working closely with developers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems architecture, with strong Linux, AWS, and CI/CD skills, and knowledge of Nginx/HAProxy/Apache. A hybrid work setup is offered.

• Bachelor's degree as specified in the Education section.
• Experience administering and maintaining Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Java, Node.js, Angular, and Python applications.
• Experience configuring and managing web servers and proxies (Nginx/HAProxy/Apache).
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

Emagine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative and innovative project environment in Seixal, Portugal. This role is ideal for a professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Systems Architecture, looking to contribute to the scalability, performance, and reliability of enterprise applications and platforms within a leading industrial environment.

You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions, optimizing system integrations, supporting cloud environments, and promoting DevOps best practices. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with development teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high‑performing, and resilient solutions.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Define and implement scalability strategies for applications and infrastructure.

• Hands‑on experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience administering and supporting applications built with Java, Node.js, Angular, and Python.
• Experience configuring and managing web servers and proxies, including Nginx, HAProxy, and Apache HTTP Server.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation in complex environments.
• Good understanding of application and cloud security principles.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proactive, autonomous, and solution‑oriented mindset.

Location & Eligibility

• Candidates must be based in Portugal.
• Hybrid regime — 3 days per week on‑site in Seixal and 2 days remote.
