Inetum Portugal is seeking a DevOps Platform Engineer to join a Digital Infrastructure team responsible for building and evolving a modern, automated development platform. The role focuses on automation, IaC, and delivering scalable, secure solutions.

The candidate will work with Backstage, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Nexus, and Sonar, bridging Architecture, Security, and Development teams in a hybrid setup (50% onsite, 50% remote) at Parque das Nações, Lisboa.

Formación

• Proven professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Proven experience with GitLab CI/CD, software delivery automation, and repository management.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management using Ansible.
• Experience working with platforms and tools such as Backstage, Nexus, and Sonar.
• Solid understanding of DevOps, Platform Engineering, and software delivery lifecycle automation.
• Experience designing and maintaining pipelines, reusable frameworks, templates, and automated workflows.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and Secure SDLC practices; valuable in regulated environments.
• Fluent English required; French a plus.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer to join a Digital Infrastructure team responsible for building and evolving a modern, automated development platform. We are seeking a highly autonomous professional with strong experience in DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code, capable of delivering scalable solutions that enhance the developer experience and accelerate software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated SDLC workflows to support development teams.
• Integrate, evolve, and optimize a platform ecosystem built around Backstage, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Nexus, and Sonar.
• Develop reusable templates, CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure modules.
• Drive platform industrialization through the definition of standards, best practices, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

Your Profile:

• Proven professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Proven experience with GitLab CI/CD, software delivery automation, and repository management.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management using Ansible.
• Experience working with platforms and tools such as Backstage, Nexus, and Sonar.
• Solid understanding of DevOps, Platform Engineering, and software delivery lifecycle automation.
• Experience designing and maintaining pipelines, reusable frameworks, templates, and automated workflows.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, Secure SDLC practices, enterprise platform operations, and AI-assisted software development is highly valued.
• Previous experience in regulated environments or within the financial services sector is considered a plus.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Fluency in French is a plus.
