Job summary

Komodo Consulting is a technology and strategy firm focused on Digital Transformation, operating in Portugal and Poland. We seek a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, and scale containerised apps on Kubernetes.

You will automate workflows, enforce DevSecOps, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid Lisbon/Porto/Coimbra setting. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in DevOps, with strong Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of solid experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalents.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift, including Helm Charts.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents.
• Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalents.
• Familiarity with artefact management and security/quality tools (e.g. Nexus, Harbor, SonarQube, Vault, SAST/DAST).
• Good understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• English B2 or above.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CKA, AWS/Azure) and experience in enterprise environments are a plus.

• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and drive preventive improvements.
• Support development teams in adopting DevOps practices and tooling.
• Produce and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, infrastructure, and development teams.

The Project

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to work on a technology project.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple technology stacks;
• Manage and evolve cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code;
• Deploy, operate, and scale containerised applications on Kubernetes or equivalent platforms;
• Automate build, test, release, and operational workflows;
