Hexa Group in Porto operates a critical production engineering environment in a hybrid model. You will contribute to reliable operation, standardization, automation and industrialisation of production applications while supporting their evolution.

The role requires coordinating changes, deploying new versions, monitoring workloads and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A strong DevOps background and 9+ years in production support are expected.

Qualificações

• 9+ years in DevOps, production engineering or related fields.
• Autonomous work in critical environments with coordination with dev and infra.
• Structured, collaborative incident resolution and change management approach.
• Willingness to work 06:30–19:30 and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and industrialize applications in a business-critical production environment.
• Coordinate application changes and technical operations, including infra interventions.
• Maintain operational instructions, procedures and documentation.
• Prepare and deploy new application versions with dev, maintenance and infra teams.
• Manage workload scheduling and automated processing.
• Collaborate with systems, database, infra and network teams during deployments.
• Participate in incident analysis and resolution to ensure reliability.

Join a critical production engineering environment within the banking sector, based in Porto with a hybrid working model. You will contribute to the reliable operation, standardization, automation and industrialisation of production applications, while supporting their technical and functional evolution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate and industrialize applications within a sensitive and business-critical production environment.
• Coordinate application changes and technical operations, including infrastructure interventions and production activities.
• Maintain operational instructions, procedures and application documentation covering software architecture, technical architecture, monitoring and production requirements.
• Prepare and deploy new application versions in coordination with development, maintenance and infrastructure teams.
• Manage and monitor application workload scheduling and automated processing.
• Collaborate with systems, database, infrastructure and network teams during production deployments and technical changes.
• Participate in the analysis and resolution of production incidents, contributing to service reliability and operational continuity.
• Participate in staggered working schedules within the defined operational window and in the applicable on-call rotation.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• More than 9 years of professional experience, with strong exposure to DevOps, production application support, infrastructure operations or production engineering.
• Ability to work autonomously in critical environments while coordinating effectively with development and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Structured, collaborative and solution-oriented approach to incident resolution, change management, documentation and continuous improvement.
• Availability to work within an operational schedule between 06:30 and 19:30 and participate in an on-call rotation covering weekdays and weekends.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Windows environments.
• Unix environments.
• Shell scripting, including KSH.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Oracle database environments.
• Jenkins for CI/CD processes.
• Jira and Confluence.
• Micro Focus CSA/HCM.
• Python.
• Production application deployment, automation, monitoring and workload scheduling.
