Findmore Consulting S.A. seeks a senior DevOps professional to support architecture decisions and build scalable infrastructure in a cloud-centric environment. You will manage Python microservices, Kafka-based apps, and AWS services, while shaping automation and tooling for operations.

The role requires strong AWS, Git, and scripting skills, plus experience with data platforms and Confluent Cloud. Lisbon-based team, Portuguese market.

Qualificações

• Senior-level DevOps experience, preferably in Platform Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Strong AWS Cloud knowledge and container orchestration.
• Git workflows, pipelines and merge requests experience.
• Shell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with data platforms and JSON/XML data.

Responsabilidades

• Back up Lead Developer and support architecture decisions.
• Conduct code reviews for infrastructure, automation, and changes.
• Develop and maintain Python-based microservices and Kafka consumers.
• Develop and maintain AWS ECS Fargate event processors and headless services.
• Develop and maintain Python-based AWS Lambda REST APIs, with versioning.
• Create tooling and automation scripts for operational tasks and Confluent CLI.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Act as the primary backup to the Lead Developer, supporting architecture decisions and ensuring technical continuity.
• Conduct code reviews for infrastructure, automation, and development changes.
• Develop, maintain, and extend Python-based microservices and containerized Kafka consumer applications.
• Develop and maintain AWS ECS Fargate event processors and headless services.
• Develop and maintain Python-based AWS Lambda REST APIs, including API versioning and alias strategies.
• Build and maintain operational tooling and automation scripts for recurring operational tasks and Confluent CLI operations.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud and platform infrastructure.

Requirements

• Senior-level DevOps experience, preferably in Platform Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Classes and metaprogramming
• Data classes and type validation
• Mid-level AWS Cloud expertise, including:
• Experience with Git, including workflows, pipelines, conventional commits, and merge requests.
• Experience with Shell scripting for operational automation and CLI-based activities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data platform infrastructure and database operations.
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience working with data structures such as JSON and XML and using SQL.
• Familiarity with Confluent Cloud / Apache Kafka and event-streaming concepts, including:
• Experience configuring AWS Lambda and working with AWS ECS or other container orchestration platforms.
• AWS certifications are considered a plus
