Job summary

ALTEN Portugal is seeking a Design Engineer for the pharmaceutical industry. You will create isometric drawings, P&IDs, and 3D piping and support models using Autodesk Revit, and generate pipe plant designs, MTOs, and BOMs.

Applicants should have >3 years of pharma experience, a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or related technical field, and a meticulous, risk-based approach to ensure compliant Revit-based design development for piping, structural, and technical systems.

Qualifications

• > 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in roles related to technical drawing, 3D modeling, and piping/support design using Autodesk Revit.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field
• High standards of attention to detail, critical thinking, and a risk-based approach to ensure compliance and accuracy in Revit-based design development
• Experience in maintaining master data, SOPs, and GMP-relevant documentation for piping, structural, and technical designs

Responsibilities

• Create and manage technical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and 3D models for piping, support systems, and structural designs using Autodesk Revit.
• Process design updates and revisions through Autodesk Revit and related systems.
• Perform diligent technical checks to ensure the correctness and compliance of Revit models, drawings, and specifications.
• Archive and share final approved Revit models, MTOs, and BOMs with relevant business functions.
• Maintain master data for piping and structural materials in Revit and other relevant systems
