Waterleau is seeking a CAD Designer to join the Proposal & Process Design Team in Portugal (Porto) or Egypt (Cairo). The role involves creating 2D/3D drawings, developing P&IDs, and updating models using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Revit.

You will collaborate with engineers, ensure compliance with standards, and deliver high-quality drawings within project deadlines. Proficiency in English is required; Dutch knowledge is a plus.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD design and drafting, with REVIT experience.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• Strong proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software and interpreting engineering documents.

To support our Proposal & Process Design Team, we are looking for a talented CAD Designer to join our office in Portugal (Porto) or Egypt (Cairo).

Responsibilities

Design & Drafting

• Develop P&IDs for proposals using Waterleau's standard drawing library.
• Create and update detailed 3D models in Revit.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on engineering specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with technical standards, company guidelines, and industry regulations.

• Ensure proper management and version control of design deliverables.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD standards, templates, and best practices.

Performance & Delivery

• Deliver high-quality drawings within project deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while minimizing revisions.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and technical challenges.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical documentation, and design standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, or construction drawing practices.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent through relevant experience.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD design and drafting, with experience in REVIT required.
• Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or construction environment.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or similar CAD software.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and technical documents.
• Experience creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings.

Languages

• Good communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset.
