BASEYARD is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth in Braga, focusing on defence, dual-use, robotics and advanced technology markets. You will build relationships with key decision-makers and manage the full BD lifecycle from first contact to contract award.

The role involves identifying strategic opportunities, developing commercial proposals, and collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain. Travel internationally is required.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in business development or similar commercial role.
• Ability to manage entire BD lifecycle from prospecting to contract award.
• Strong relationship-building with senior decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, robotics, or high-tech industries.
• Willingness to travel internationally and communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and secure new customers across defence, dual-use, robotics, and related markets.
• Build a strong pipeline of B2B and B2G opportunities.
• Develop relationships with founders, procurement teams, OEMs, and system integrators.
• Own the BD lifecycle from lead generation to contract award.
• Coordinate proposals, tenders, and commercial documentation.
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline and forecasts.
