Affinity is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our Porto team. You will manage PostgreSQL databases, build robust infrastructure, and ensure security and performance across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires strong collaboration across international teams, 5+ years of DBA experience, and fluency in French. English proficiency is advantageous. Embrace a dynamic, learning-focused culture and participate in on-call rotation as part of production support.

Responsabilidades

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with PostgreSQL as a core requirement.
• Strong hands-on experience in database infrastructure setup, configuration, access management, and performance tuning.
• Experience with containerized or cloud database environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Redshift) is a strong plus.
• Participation in an on-call production support rotation.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory in an international team environment.
• Troubleshooting with proactive monitoring, backup/recovery, and security best practices.

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with PostgreSQL (mandatory) plus at least one or more of: Oracle SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Strong hands-on experience in database infrastructure setup, installation, configuration, access management, and performance tuning.
• Experience with containerized or cloud database environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Redshift) is a strong plus.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for production support.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory – international team environment.
• Solid troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to monitoring, backup/recovery, and security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple time zones.
