Decskill is looking for a Data Products Architect to join a Data Products Architecture team as part of a cloud transformation program. The role focuses on designing and implementing a Data Mesh approach, guiding globally distributed analytics and operational teams, and enabling data sharing and usage across the organization.

The candidate will act as a reference for architecture, support onboarding of Data Product teams, and provide lifecycle guidance from ideation to production integration,

Qualificações

• Strong experience as Senior Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Solution Architect.
• Experience with cloud transformation and cloud-based architectures.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh and Data Products.
• Experience designing scalable end-to-end data solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a reference point for architecture definition and data product development within a Data Mesh environment.
• Support Data Product teams with onboarding and best-practice guidance for modern data processing.
• Provide architectural support throughout the Data Product lifecycle, from ideation to production integration.
• Design scalable, efficient and future-proof data architectures.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure is leveraged across data products and systems.
• Provide strategic guidance on data processing, cloud development, and data warehousing.

The role focuses on designing and implementing a Data Mesh approach, providing architectural guidance to globally distributed analytics and operational teams and enabling efficient data sharing and usage across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a reference point for architecture definition and data product development within a Data Mesh environment.
• Support Data Product teams with onboarding and best-practice guidance for modern data processing.
• Provide architectural support throughout the Data Product lifecycle, from:
• Ideation
• Specification
• Prototyping
• Production integration
• Design scalable, efficient, and future-proof data architectures.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure is leveraged effectively across data products and systems.
• Provide strategic guidance on data processing, cloud development, and data warehousing.
• Integrate solutions into the broader Data Mesh ecosystem.
• Ensure architectural solutions are aligned with infrastructure best practices and organizational needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Solution Architect.
• Experience with cloud transformation and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience designing scalable and maintainable end-to-end data solutions.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh and Data Products.
• Experience with modern data processing and data architecture patterns.
• Strong understanding of architectural best practices, integration patterns, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with technical teams and business stakeholders in complex environments.
• Ability to provide architectural guidance, define reusable patterns, and support teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable solutions.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaborate across teams, and mentor others.
