Decskill is hiring a Tech Lead for Data & Analytics to steer strategic data initiatives across the group. You will guide data pipelines, integrate diverse sources, and ensure delivery aligned with business goals from our Lisbon/Porto operations and partner sites.

The role emphasizes leadership, cloud data tooling on Azure, and building scalable, observable data platforms with a distributed team. Growth and impact are supported through collaboration and technical excellence.

Qualificações

• Experience in Data Engineering & Big Data
• Proficient with Apache Spark (batch and streaming)
• Experience with Hive, Impala, Spark SQL
• Proficient in PySpark, Scala and advanced SQL
• Cloud experience - Azure
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault
• Experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in Orchestration and Monitoring
• Experience with Azure Data Factory
• Experience in Structured logging and alerts, observability
• Experience in Systems Integration
• Experience with SAP, Data hubs, external/internal sources
• Experience in Data modeling and versioning
• Ability to work in a globally distributed team
• Problem-solving attitude

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for strategic data projects across the group

• Act as technical lead to remove roadblocks for the team
• Refine user stories and prioritize the backlog
• Establish standards for versioning, logging and naming conventions
• Ensure alignment with corporate architecture
• Maintain strategic view of risks, opportunities and efficiency
• Maintain communication with business to ensure successful product delivery

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for strategic data projects at group.
• Optimization of data pipelines (batch and streaming),
• Integration of diverse systems,
• Deliveries that drive business value,
• Technical and professional growth of the team.
• Serve as a technical support point for the team (resolve roadblocks),
• Actively participate in refining user stories and prioritizing the backlog,
• Establish standards (versioning, logging, naming conventions),
• Promote alignment with corporate architecture,
• Maintain a strategic view of risks, opportunities, and efficiency.
• Maintain constant communication with the business to serve as an intermediary who ensures successful product delivery.
