Confidential is seeking an experienced Team Lead to be the hands-on technical leader for a data engineering team, designing and building our data platform architecture. You will define how data is ingested, governed and modelled, setting the direction the team follows, while coaching and supporting engineers around you.

Additionally, you will work with architecture, product and governance stakeholders to keep the platform consistent, well governed and built to last.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience designing and building enterprise data platforms.
• Deep knowledge of data ingestion, conformed modelling and data products.
• Experience with governance, quality, lineage, security and privacy in regulated environments.
• Ability to define architectural direction and drive adoption across teams.
• Mentoring engineers through technical coaching while remaining hands-on.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build core parts of data platform architecture including ingestion, modelling and data products.
• Define standards for data ingestion, transformation and canonical modelling.
• Lead architectural decisions aligning with data governance and privacy frameworks.
• Stay hands-on: write code, review PRs, contribute to key components.
• Coach the team, grow engineers' skills and confidence daily.
• Plan and prioritise the technical roadmap balancing new capability with maintenance.
• Collaborate with business and other tech teams to translate needs into design.
• Support hiring and onboarding of new engineers to ramp up on architecture.
• Champion engineering practices including code quality, testing and docs.
