Metyis is seeking a Data Engineering Lead with 5–8 years of experience to join our global Data and Analytics team at the Porto Digital Campus, where cutting-edge data platforms empower decision making.

You will drive the technical roadmap, architect and implement ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure, guide a small team, partner with data scientists, and deliver scalable data products and dashboards for clients.

Qualificações

• 5–8 years of experience in a similar role with ETL development on cloud platforms.
• Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts (ODS, data marts, data lakes, data vault, 3NF).
• Good understanding of cloud-based digital development, CI/CD workflows, and analytics environments.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (unit/integration).
• Hands-on Azure (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, streaming) and data analytics services.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical roadmap of client projects and ensure cohesive architecture.
• Architect and deliver data pipelines and data products with Azure cloud.
• Coach and mentor team members in data engineering practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists to enable lifecycle data workflows from ingestion to visualization.
• Deliver scalable data platforms, dashboards, and insights in collaboration with stakeholders.
