AgileEngine Porto is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to modernize and migrate data-platform infrastructure across cloud environments. You will join a production-ready team and contribute to scalable data pipelines.

The role requires 3+ years in production data-platform engineering, strong Python, Bash, SQL, AWS, Snowflake, Kafka/Confluent, and upper-intermediate English. Legacy migration experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of senior-level, hands-on production data-platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python, Bash and SQL skills.
• Production experience with Snowflake and Confluent/Kafka, with AWS in the mix.
• Deep Snowflake and AWS, with Kafka knowledge; or deep Kafka with Snowflake knowledge.
• Experience operating or migrating production systems across dev, stage, and prod.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident-response, testing, documentation, and cross-team communication.
• Experience with least-privilege access, change control, secrets handling, and secure operational practices.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate infrastructure and data-platform workloads to the new infrastructure.
• Move data-platform infrastructure to AWS us-east-2 and ensure connectivity and deployment.
• Enable secure, governed data access for consumers and downstream systems.
• Modernize data-platform architecture, tooling, orchestration, storage, and operations.
• Support Snowflake, Confluent/Kafka, AWS migrations and operations across stage and prod.
• Participate in production troubleshooting, runbooks, and cross-team coordination.
• Use Terraform/IaC, GitLab, monitoring, and documented processes for repeatable changes.
