AgileEngine is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to modernize, migrate, and maintain reliable data-platform infrastructure across cloud and enterprise environments. The role demands 3+ years of senior-level production data-platform engineering, strong Python, Bash, SQL, AWS, Snowflake, Kafka/Confluent, and a proven track record in migrations, security, and cross‑team collaboration.

You will work across development, staging, and production, using Terraform/IaC and GitLab to deliver auditable

Qualificações

• 3+ years of senior-level production data-platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python, Bash, and SQL skills.
• Production experience with Snowflake and Confluent/Kafka in DevOps/operations.
• AWS expertise with data-platform migrations and secure access practices.
• Experience across development, staging, and production environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team communication.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate infrastructure and data-platform workloads to the new infrastructure.
• Move data-platform workloads to AWS us-east-2 (USE2) including connectivity, deployment, and prerequisites.
• Ensure secure, governed data access for consumers and downstream systems.
• Modernize data-platform architecture, tooling, orchestration, storage, and operations to align with standards.
• Support Snowflake, Confluent/Kafka, AWS, and data-platform migrations in stage and production.
• Participate in production troubleshooting, incident response, runbooks, and cross-team migration coordination.
• Deliver repeatable and auditable changes using Terraform/IaC and GitLab.
