Wire IT in Portugal is seeking a Data Engineer SAS Migration to join a senior, agile team. This role focuses on analyzing SAS queries and translating them into optimized SQL and Python solutions for ADP, using Azure Synapse and cloud data environments.

Location is hybrid in Lisbon. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and hands-on Azure Synapse experience.

Role: Data Engineer SAS Migration

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon Portugal

Required skills:

• 2+ years of professional experience
• Strong SQL and Python development skills, including query optimization (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse and cloud data environments (mandatory)
• Experience analyzing existing SAS queries and SAS Query Builder logic inherited over several years, and translating them into optimized SQL and Python solutions for ADP
