Wire IT, based in Portugal, is a specialized IT consulting partner with 18 years of experience and a senior team that helps clients make the right decisions in a fast-moving market. Role: Senior Big Data Engineer. Location: Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in Big Data, hands-on with Spark, Python, Hadoop, Hive, SQL, Linux, APIs and Kafka, plus CI/CD and Git. We offer a full-time, no-term contract, health insurance, generous vacation, meal allowance, training budgets,

Qualificações

• 9+ years of experience in similar roles, with strong experience in Big Data Engineering and software development.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Python, Hadoop, Hive, SQL, Linux, APIs and Kafka.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, Git and DevOps concepts.
• Experience with XL Release, XL Deploy and CTRL-M.
• Experience in performance optimization is a plus.
• Minimum B2 level of English (mandatory); French is a plus.

Role:Senior Big Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal

Required skills:

• 9+ years of experience in similar roles, with strong experience in Big Data Engineering and software development.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Python, Hadoop, Hive, SQL, Linux, APIs and Kafka.
