Wire IT in Portugal is seeking a Senior Big Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines, enabling data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, international environment.

You'll work with Spark, Python, Hadoop, Hive, SQL, Linux, APIs and Kafka, and implement robust CI/CD with Git and DevOps practices. Hybrid office in Lisbon offers an engaging, people-centered culture and continuous growth.

Qualificações

• 9+ years in similar roles with Big Data engineering.
• Hands-on with Spark, Python, Hadoop, Hive, SQL, Linux, APIs, Kafka.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, Git and DevOps practices.
• Experience with XL Release, XL Deploy and CTRL-M.
• English at least B2; French is a plus.

Role:Senior Big Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal

Required skills:

• 9+ years of experience in similar roles, with strong experience in Big Data Engineering and software development.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Python, Hadoop, Hive, SQL, Linux, APIs and Kafka.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, Git and DevOps concepts.
• Experience with XL Release, XL Deploy and CTRL-M.
• Experience in performance optimization is a plus.
• Minimum B2 level of English (mandatory); French is a plus.
