Job summary

SYONE is seeking a data-focused professional to translate business needs into technical requirements, build robust data models, and deliver BI dashboards. You will design end-to-end data pipelines, ensure data quality, and collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to scale analytics capabilities.

The role requires 3+ years in data roles, strong SQL and data warehousing understanding, and proficiency in English with French as a plus. European fintech or banking experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer or BI Developer role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including complex queries, joins and optimization.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing and data modeling (Kimball).
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Stambia, Talend, Informatica, SSIS, Azure Data Factory or dbt.
• Willingness to learn Stambia if you have experience with other ETL tools.
• Proficiency in French (minimum B2) and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications for the Data Engineering team.
• Design, develop and maintain data models including star/snowflake schemas for analytics.
• Develop dashboards and BI reporting solutions to support decision-making.
• Build, test and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data into data warehouses.
• Develop and maintain data integration processes using Stambia and other ETL tools.
• Implement automated data quality checks to ensure data reliability and integrity.
• Maintain data documentation including data dictionaries, definitions and data lineage.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes, performance and reporting capabilities.
