Fyld is looking for a Data Engineer (AWS) to join our team in Lisbon. You will design and implement scalable data solutions on AWS, working with Glue, EMR, Redshift, S3 and Spark to deliver real impact.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements into robust data models, and ensure data quality and governance across data lakes and warehouses while applying best practices in CI/CD and automation.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience designing scalable data solutions on AWS.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Spark and PySpark.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT, data lakes and data warehouses.
• Knowledge of Airflow or similar orchestration tools is valued.
• Certifications in AWS data services are valued.
• Fluency in English.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or related fields
• Experience designing and developing scalable data solutions on AWS
• Strong knowledge of AWS Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis and Amazon S3
• Experience with Apache Spark and PySpark
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, data warehouses and modern data architectures
• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools is valued
• Familiarity with AWS Lake Formation, Lambda and Infrastructure as Code is a plus
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• AWS Certified Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Analytics or similar certifications are valued
• Fluency in English
