Job summary

Expleo is seeking a senior Data Engineer in Lisbon to shape and optimize data architectures across projects. You will leverage Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Azure SQL to build robust ETL pipelines and scalable data solutions.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, translate business requirements into data models, and ensure data quality with strong communication in English. The role requires 6+ years of experience in data engineering, a deep understanding of data

Qualifications

• Professional experience (6+ years) in Data Engineer roles and/or similar positions.
• Strong proficiency in data processes, data modeling, data pipelines (ETL), and the data lifecycle.
• Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT processes for processing and managing large volumes of data and monitoring pipelines.
• Experience with Python, Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Analysis Services, and Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate, solve problems, and pay attention to detail.

Experience
