Axians is seeking a Data Engineer to design and optimize data structures, manage data environments, and support high-quality reporting solutions. You will build scalable data pipelines, enhance SAP Business Objects environments, and ensure data governance and performance across the data lifecycle.

Daily tasks include SAP BO universe management, high-performance pipelines, automation of artifact releases, and upgrades/migrations of SAP BO Universes.

Data Engineer

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Data Engineer responsible for designing and optimizing data structures, managing data environments, and supporting the delivery of high-quality reporting solutions. You will play a key role in building scalable data pipelines, enhancing SAP Business Objects environments, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and governance of data-driven processes.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

• SAP BO universe creation and evolutions.
• Design high-performance data pipelines.
• Implementation of user groups and restrictions on SAP BO.
• Automate the end-to-end release of artifacts across environments.
• SAP BO version upgrade and SAP BO Universes migration.

Your Key Skills

• SAP BusinessObjects Development.
• Data Management and Database Administration.
• Data Pipelines and Automation.

Your Main Qualifications

• Proven experience with SAP BusinessObjects (mandatory).
• Knowledge of database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.
• Experience with Python for automation and data-related developments.
• Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or Dataiku.
• Understanding of data modelling, data migration, and data infrastructure concepts.
• Experience working with reporting environments and governance processes.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Experience with digital product deployments and third-party data governance is considered a plus.
• Fluency in English and French.
