Axians is seeking a Business Analyst to manage the full lifecycle of business requirements in complex IT environments. You will optimise processes, support Agile delivery, and ensure high-quality solutions using APIs and data virtualization.

Responsibilities include bridging business and tech teams, defining acceptance criteria, and coordinating IST/UAT/testing efforts to ensure smooth delivery.

BUSINESS ANALYST (FINANCE & RISK)

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Business Analyst responsible for managing the full lifecycle of business requirements, from specification to delivery, within complex IT environments. You will play a key role in analysing business needs, optimizing processes, supporting Agile delivery, and ensuring high-quality solutions through testing and stakeholder collaboration. This role focuses on the evolution of data ecosystems and integration technologies, contributing to improved data quality, streamlined workflows, and enhanced decision-making capabilities through modern technologies such as APIs and data virtualization.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder interactions.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
• Analyse existing processes and design future-state workflows to improve efficiency and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Define and coordinate testing activities, including Integration System Testing (IST), Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect management.

Your Key Skills

• Strong expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modelling methodologies such as BPMN and UML.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, backlog management, sprint ceremonies, and MVP-driven delivery.
• Solid experience in testing lifecycle management, including IST, UAT, regression testing, and defect tracking.
• Strong understanding of systems integration, APIs, data flows, data virtualization, and data quality management.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and ALM Octane for requirements, testing, and project tracking activities.

Your Main Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an IT environment.
• Experience working in Agile projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional experience in referential administration, data management, or database-related activities.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
