Caixa Mágica Software is expanding its Transversal Squad with a Business Analyst who will participate in the analysis and writing of specifications for the design, development and rollout of our Data Factory framework. You will work side-by-side with developers, data engineers and product owners to turn business needs into a robust, scalable data-aggregation platform.

The Data Factory Program will deliver a Data Aggregation & Curation platform built on a relational database and modern ETL

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of the financial and banking sector.
• Experience translating business needs into functional specifications (user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Experience with data migration projects and large-scale data manipulation.

Responsabilidades

• Gather and analyse requirements from stakeholders, data owners, and regulatory teams.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications (user stories, data models).
• Create and maintain documentation (requirements catalog, data dictionary, process maps, test plans).
• Facilitate test planning and participate in design test cases.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders via sprint demos and reports.
• Collaborate with ETL team to design data-flow and transformation logic.
• Define, implement, and maintain the data-quality framework.

We are expanding our Transversal Squad with Business Analyst (APMBA3) who will participate in the analisys and writing of specification of the design, development and rollout of our Data Factory framework. In this role you will work side‑by‑side with developers, data engineers and product owners to turn business needs into a robust, scalable data‑aggregation platform.

About the Data Factory Program - Data Factory is a strategic initiative that will deliver a Data Aggregation & Curation platform built on a relational database and modern ETL pipelines. The objective is to create a single, centralised repository that holds a copy of all operational and referential data, fully harmonised, quality‑checked and ready for downstream consumption.

What will you do?

• Gather and analyse requirements from business stakeholders, data owners, and regulatory teams
• Translate business needs into functional specifications (user stories, acceptance criteria, data‑model diagrams)
• Create and maintain documentation (requirements catalog, data dictionary, process maps, test plans)
• Facilitate test planning by participating in design test cases
• Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders through sprint demos, status reports and reviews
• Identify improvement opportunities in the transversal framework, propose enhancements
• Collaborate with the ETL development team to design optimal data‑flow and transformation logic
• Define, implement, and maintain the data‑quality framework (rules, thresholds, validation checks)

What are we looking for?

• Strong knowledge on financial and banking sector
• Agile Project‑Management Tools – Manage backlogs, user stories, and traceability in Jira or Azure DevOps; ensure requirements are linked to test cases and delivery artifacts.
• Notions in managing data migration projects and performing large‑scale data manipulation and aggregation
• SQL development skills (Oracle is the DB used)
• Portuguese Mastery
• French (nice to have) Notions
• Autonomous, organized and delivery‑focused with attention to detail
• Dynamic and proactive taking own initiative to mitigate risk, and prevent issues arising;
• Great communication skills while being capable of negotiating with sponsors and reaching to an agreement
• Ability to work well under pressure and tight timeframes
• Good work ethic and high levels of motivation
