Parfois in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Buying Controller to support strategic decision-making through rigorous numerical analysis of buying data across the product lifecycle. You will prepare budgets, define collection structure, plan purchasing timelines, and assist Buyers to optimize quantities and minimize excess stock, contributing to profitability.

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, 3 years in fashion retail, advanced Excel, fluent in Portuguese and English, and strong presentation/negotiation

Qualificações

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Industrial Management, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles within fashion retail.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (mandatory).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish a plus).
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and oversee budget proposals, ensuring a balanced product mix in terms of price, color, item type, development calendar, and store capacity.
• Support the definition of the collection structure from a numerical and strategic perspective, ensuring full alignment with objectives.
• Plan purchasing timelines considering production, development, and transportation schedules to prevent delays.
• Assist Buyers in defining quantities per reference and supervise execution to maximize sales and minimize excess stock.
