Gleeds in Portugal seeks a Professional Project Manager with a mechanical bias to lead the water-cooling plant package for a data centre campus. You will act as owner-representative consultancy lead, managing construction, testing, commissioning and handover, coordinating technical, programme and interface requirements.

The role is site-based in Sines, requiring five days per week on site with no rotation. You will collaborate with general contractors, the client and Gleeds teams, drive on-site

Qualificações

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cooling systems and plant.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English and Portuguese; right to work in Portugal.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering objectives.
• Delivering high-quality services and ensuring PM deliverables meet requirements.
• Ensuring quality and compliance of construction works per specs, budget and schedule.
• Facilitating clear communication among all parties to resolve issues.
• Working with vendors/contractors to ensure on-time delivery and installation.
• Monitoring progress of on-site construction and installation.
