JMG Solutions Ltd in Setúbal, Portugal, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to deliver major data centre projects on site. You will report to the Mechanical Project Manager and oversee safe, timely, and high-quality mechanical works.

The role requires leadership, strong organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate HVAC, pipework, and installations while managing subcontractors and RAMS compliance. Data centre experience is advantageous.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience as Mechanical Construction Manager or similar in an M&E environment.
• Data centre experience advantageous.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple fronts in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage mechanical construction activities, subcontractors, labour, and site resources.
• Coordinate HVAC, pipework, and mechanical installations to meet programme milestones.
• Prepare and implement RAMS and ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements.
• Manage procurement of equipment, materials, and specialist subcontractors.
• Monitor the two-week look-ahead programme, variations, delays, and scope changes.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure materials meet project specifications.
• Support commercial activities including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
