JMG Solutions Ltd seeks an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join our team on major data centre projects in Portugal. This site-based role reports to the Mechanical Project Manager and oversees the safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of mechanical works.

The role requires managing mechanical construction activities, coordinating HVAC and pipework, and ensuring RAMS, HSE and quality compliance.

Qualificações

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager or similar within an M&E environment.
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts within a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage mechanical construction activities, subcontractors, labour, and site resources.
• Coordinate HVAC, pipework, and mechanical installations to meet programme milestones.
• Prepare and implement RAMS and ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements.
• Manage procurement of equipment, materials, and specialist subcontractors.
• Monitor the two-week look-ahead programme, variations, delays, and scope changes.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure materials meet project specifications.
• Support commercial activities including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
