Job summary

Decskill is growing and seeking a Data Architect to design and model enterprise data, ensure governance and compliance, and support delivery teams across regions. You will maintain data dictionaries, contribute to the Enterprise Data Model, and collaborate with Data Office and security teams in Lisbon, Porto, and Madrid.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a related field, 2–5 years in data architecture, strong knowledge of data management concepts, and hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of data architecture experience, preferably in banking/finance.
• Solid understanding of data management concepts: modelling, quality, security, metadata.
• Experience with data governance or cataloguing tools (Collibra, Informatica, MS Purview).
• Ability to create clear data models and dictionaries for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Certifications such as DAMA or TOGAF preferred.
• Hands-on with data management platforms: Abacus, Ab Initio, Talend DataCatalog, EBX/xDM.
• Familiarity with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or data prep/ML platforms (Dataiku).
• Experience modelling with Archi, PowerDesigner, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of cloud, encryption and data formats (JSON, XML, SWIFT).
• Good level of English.

• Change & knowledge management – deliver training, documentation and facilitation sessions to spread best practices across regions.
• Collaboration – work with Data Office, functional/technical architects, security, business continuity and local IT teams.
