Hexa People is seeking a data governance lead to transform data from multiple source systems into trusted, governed datasets for business use. You will partner with global data-platform specialists, engineers and stakeholders to define, test and publish reusable datasets that support reporting, AI and analytics.

Role Overview

You will transform information from multiple source systems into trusted, well-governed datasets that are ready for business use. Working closely with global data-platform specialists, data engineers and business stakeholders, you will help define, develop, test and publish reusable datasets that support reporting, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.

You will also contribute to the centralisation and migration of data into the Global Data Platform, ensuring that information remains accurate, complete, consistent and traceable throughout the process. By developing meaningful KPIs and intuitive Power BI reporting, you will turn complex data into clear insights that strengthen decision-making and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

You will analyse, profile and structure data from different operational systems to create reliable business-level datasets. In partnership with stakeholders, you will define data requirements, KPI logic, business terminology and acceptance criteria, translating complex needs into practical specifications for technical delivery teams.

You will collaborate with global platform teams and data engineers to design, build, validate and release reusable datasets within the Global Data Platform. You will support data centralisation and migration activities by reconciling source and target information, investigating discrepancies and coordinating the resolution of quality issues. You will also contribute to mapping source data against Core Data Models and ensure that business rules are clearly documented and traceable in line with governance standards.

You will monitor data quality and address issues affecting accuracy, completeness, consistency and reliability. You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards aligned with agreed KPIs and user requirements, presenting findings in a clear and actionable way. In addition, you will automate and simplify reporting processes, maintain metadata, lineage and technical documentation, and promote knowledge sharing and effective data-governance practices.

Requirements

You will bring practical experience in business analysis, requirements gathering and the definition of measurable acceptance criteria. You will be able to support minimum viable product and proof-of-concept delivery, helping transform early ideas into validated data solutions.

You have strong capabilities in data analysis, management, modelling and solution design, along with hands-on knowledge of data profiling, reconciliation and quality assurance. Experience with data warehousing, business intelligence and visualisation - particularly Power BI - will be essential. You will also understand data platforms, migration processes and core data-engineering concepts, with the ability to contribute to automation, documentation, metadata management and data-lineage activities. Familiarity with facilities management, Internet of Things or food-related data will be considered an advantage.
