Amaris Consulting is hiring a Cybersecurity Specialist in a hybrid role based in Portugal. You will design and enforce security policies, monitor for threats, and respond to incidents while collaborating with IT and other departments to embed security across the organization.

You will work in a dynamic, international environment with opportunities to obtain partner-led certifications, engage in security training, and contribute to a strong security posture for the company's data and systems.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity required.
• Proven cybersecurity work experience.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Certifications (CISSP/CISM/CEH) a plus.

Responsabilidades

As a Cybersecurity Specialist at Amaris, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's information systems and networks from cyber threats. You will work closely with IT teams to implement security measures, monitor for security breaches, and respond to incidents. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems.

What Will You Do?

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and investigate security breaches.
• Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Respond to security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
• Stay up‐to‐date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Provide training and awareness programs to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

What We Want

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• English and French Fluent.
