Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Domain Lead to guide security across Sustainability, Growth Enablement, and R&I. You’ll partner with business and technical teams to embed security into digital transformation and ensure governance alignment.

Lead the CISO Office representation and coach teams to deliver secure, innovative solutions, while maintaining compliance and fostering a culture of shared security accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, IT operations or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and regulations (SOX, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience with risk management, vulnerability management and compliance assessments.
• Ability to lead cross-functional security initiatives and drive results.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• CISO Office representation within the assigned IT domain, aligning with security strategy.
• Collaborate with teams to provide hands-on security coaching and practical guidance.
• Help teams overcome obstacles and guide them to secure, innovative outcomes.
• Embed security into projects from the outset to enable delivery and innovation.
• Promote shared responsibility for cybersecurity across teams and management levels.
• Engage with stakeholders to navigate sensitive cybersecurity topics as a trusted advisor.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously assess and improve security practices and supporting technologies.
