Job summary

Vodafone's Cyber Security team seeks a skilled security professional to help protect products, platforms and services for Vodafone Business. You will work across global stakeholders to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical assets.

You’ll drive security controls throughout the product lifecycle, perform risk assessments, and lead initiatives with senior management, delivering measurable improvements and secure customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable technical assessment/ assurance industry expertise in cyber security.
• Experience applying security baseline standards across product lifecycles.
• Technical cyber experience in IT and networks, ideally in consultancy or assurance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security controls are implemented effectively across the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate with VB business and technology teams up to senior manager level.
• Perform technical and non-technical control assessments of VB products.
• Manage and qualify VB Cyber VB risks within your area.
• Lead initiatives and deliver end-to-end cyber improvements with senior management presentations.

What you’ll do

The Vodafone Cyber Security team is dedicated to protecting Vodafone, its people, customers and critical assets in order to build a secure digital future. In support of this mission, the Cyber Vodafone Business (VB) team are tasked to ensure a consistently high level of security across all Products, Platforms & Solutions consumed by Vodafone Business customers.

As part of the wider Vodafone Cyber Security team, Cyber VB interfaces with a wide range of global stakeholders at all levels across Vodafone. We work collaboratively to protect the security of our customers by ensuring the in-life confidentiality, integrity and availability of our platforms and solutions.

• Ensure security controls are implemented effectively with appropriate coverage, throughout the product’s lifecycle and work closely with the VB business and technology teams up to senior manager level
• Ensure technical and non-technical control assessments of VB products and solutions are conducted
• Manage, technically assess and qualify VB. Cyber VB risks raised within your responsibility area
• Drive Cyber process and technical improvement plans across VB and manage and deliver Cyber ad-hoc tasks
• Lead bigger initiatives and functional domains end-to-end delivery including senior management decision ready presentations

Who you are

• Demonstrable technical assessment/ assurance industry expertise in cyber security
• Strong experience in applying technical security baseline standards from Internal and external standards to ensure security through the full product lifecycle of VB products and services
• Demonstrable technical Cyber experience in IT and networks, ideally in a consultancy or assurance role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
