Job summary

Northern Health is seeking an experienced CSSD Educator Grade 5 Instrument Technician to lead training across all campuses and ensure staff competency in reprocessing reusable medical devices. The role requires a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and a minimum of four years in CSSD as Grade 5 Instrument Technician, with knowledge of AS5369:2023 and NSQHS standards.

You will coach and develop education programs for the CSSD team.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122) required.
• 4+ years in reprocessing reusable medical devices as Grade 5 Instrument Technician.
• Educator or RTO experience desirable; knowledge of AS5369:2023 & NSQHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead CSSD staff training across Northern Health campuses.
• Ensure knowledge and skills in reprocessing reusable medical devices.
